Constance R. Smith, Chair - csmith@bayareainclusion.org
Constance is the Scene Shop Foreman and Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Dramatic Arts at the University of South Alabama. She holds a B.F.A. in Theatrical Design & Technology from Auburn University, and a MS in Recreational Therapy from the University of South Alabama. Constance is also a faculty sponsor for the Gay Straight Alliance at the university, designs scenery for local theatres, and serves as the onsite Job Contact Services Co-ordinator under April J’Callahan Marshall for the South Eastern Theatre Conference (www.setc.org).

Chris Starkey was born and raised in Mississippi. He received his BA in Psychology from the University of South Alabama in 1992 and is currently completing his MA in Literature. He continues to study the ways in which language is used to create and enforce systems of power.
Darleen Dempster - ddempster@bayareainclusion.org
Darleen Dempster received her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2007. She has approximately ten years post-master's experience in counseling with adults, adolescents, and children. She has done advocacy work on varying issues (child abuse, sexual assault, sexual orientation, gender roles and gender expression, ect.), and she has also collaborated with other professionals to create educational programming (mostly on college campuses) focused on such issues. Darleen is a counselor with Counseling and Testing Services at the University of South Alabama.
